Chapter 7: Communicating as a CASA/GAL Volunteer—This training covers the communication skills necessary to help you interview and observe children, deal with conflict, and work collaboratively with others on a case. You will increase your understanding of confidentiality and privacy issues as they relate to building a trusting relationship with the children and families you will encounter as a volunteer.
