First Circle: Filmmaker Heather Rae's latest effort with her screen writer husband Russell Friedenberg, will premiere in Boise December 8th. The film grapples with the issues around foster care, which takes in about 300,000 kids each year, through the microcosm of Rae's family.

Rae, an award winning producer and director, directed and Friedenberg wrote the documentary that tells Rae's very personal story of her family's experience with the foster care system due to drug and alcohol addiction.

They filmed in Idaho and Eastern Oregon, and used Idaho talent to make it, including co-producer Laura Mehlhaff and local composer Robin Zimmermann.

Film not yet rated, PG-13 suggested.
Beer and wine available for purchase, cash bar only.

Presented by the filmmakers, The Boise Co-op and the Egyptian Theatre.
